Easter Pics!

Okay, so we're changing plans

Nothing is solid around here (Except God)! Due to the various events and early mornings surrounding Easter, we are postponing GoKarting until the next weekend - possibly a Friday night this time since it's a fun night out - either the 28th or 29th. Does this work for everyone??? Plus then we will have more time to market the heck out of it and get a larger group to join IN.

Do you all dig? Will this work with your schedules? Do we need to push it to April instead?

Karting Extravaganza - Sunday March 22 - 6:30 pm

Let's have some fun at the Edmonds "Funtasia Family Fun park" where go-karts, bumper cars and mini golf abound!

March 22, 6:30pm Funtasia in Edmonds

Check out this link for more details: http://www.familyfunpark.com/outdoorfun.html

Also, plan on spending at least 20 per person if you plan on doing more than one round of karting. ($7 each round) They also have a restaurant/food bar, so if you want you can eat there too.

Carpooling is good. :o)

KARTING

We are going go-karting on Saturday the 22nd!!! Plan on 6:30 or 7ish. We are thinking the place in mukilteo but will post up here in the next couple days where exactly we're going. Bring your own moola for the fun.

As you may not know, Brad and I are moving - to Lake Stevens! Thus the long delays in planning as we've been so busy cleaning/ packing / organizing we can't even see straight.

Here's to some fun in a week. If anyone has any other recommendations on where to go, they are most welcomed.

Remember this book?

Our meatball discussion led me to remember this GREAT childhood book: Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. I mean, who doesn't want to wake up to a world full of giant meatball hail, flying saucer pancakes and mashed-potato snowmen?

Thanks!

Thanks to everyone for coming! We had a blast last night!

We're thinking the next get-together will be Saturday, March 1st, at 6:30ish.
Let us know if there is a conflict with that date! We should have the Bible Study series by then to kick things off. Come hungry.

We want to form a meaningful, fun community, to gather with people of a similar age–to learn about God through each other.

NOOMA

We want to get in on the Word, so we found this great series by Rob Bell, a Pastor at Mars Hill Church. It's a different format than most Bible studies. It centers around a 10 minute video, created to evoke thought and discussion about our God and our Faith. The first NOOMA we thought we'd watch is entitled Trees, and the description follows:

"We want to know why we are here. If our lives really matter. How our religion is relevant to this life. Today. We want to understand what significance this minute, hour, week, month, and year has to our lives. To our world. We need a God who cares about this life, in this world, right now. We want to understand why everything we think, everything we say, and everything we do matters. We don’t want to just sit back and wait for something to happen or someday to come. We want to know if all the choices we make now will shape our world and lives for eternity. Because we want our lives to have meaning today, and our lives today to have meaning forever."

Good food, fun, and God's Word await you on Feb 16th!!!
